Aristocrat Technologies, the US arm of leading Australian land and online casino
systems developer Aristocrat Leisure Limited, and similar US gaming firm Bally
Technologies Incorporated have formed a symbiotic alliance in anticipation of
the legalisation and regulation of online gambling in America.
Under the terms of the new partnership, Aristocrat will work closely with Bally
to develop a state-of-the-art B2B online gambling solution, which will include a
new third-party online poker network aimed specifically at US operators, which
will incorporate many of the world’s top online poker providers.
The Partnership Will Benefit Both Gaming Firms
According to the firms, they are already in ‘advanced talks’ with many top
online poker brands. The Aristocrat Bally gaming partnership is designed
to benefit both parties in the event the US online gambling industry is finally
regulated, opening the way for American players to legally gamble online.
The duo are also expected to work together to develop a host of new online slot
games, including free-play titles, which will eventually be converted to real
money games. The idea is that US players will be able to enjoy the free games,
and then when legislation allows, play them for real funds if they so choose.
Said Bally CEO, Richard Haddrill, ‘By teaming up, Bally and Aristocrat can
source and integrate with the strongest online poker product specifically
tailored for this market, which can help our customers maintain their leadership
position in both land-based and online gaming.’
Aristocrat and Bally recognised that by forming a symbiotic alliance, each will
be in a greater position strategically to get a US-focused online poker network
up-and-running quicker and more effectively, with superior functionality and
features designed to enhance the overall player experience.
Both Want an Extension on their Nevada Licences
In this vain, both firms have confirmed that they have already contacted the
Nevada Gaming Control Board for the necessary extension to their current Nevada
licences, which give them permission to act as interactive gaming suppliers.
Said Aristocrat Technologies CEO, Jamie Odell, ‘Access to the proven slot
content from both Bally and Aristocrat will allow gaming operators to create a
compelling experience as legalised online gaming emerges in the United States.
