Normally my game of choice at online casinos are slots, and any type of slots
game will do from classic 3-reel slots, video slots and bright 3D slots, to
bonus slots, 1024-ways-to-win slots and, of course, ‘millionaire-making’
progressive jackpot slots.
So imagine my surprise when a few weeks ago as I was perusing my favourite slot
games at Sky Vegas Casino (my favourite online casino), a game caught my eye
that wasn’t a slot. The name Chain Reactors jumped out at me, and I couldn’t
resist trying it out.
Arcade-style Game With 25 Animated Balls
When Chain Reactors opened, I saw that it was an arcade-style game comprising a
square screen that could hold 25 balls, or more accurately, 25
multi-coloured-animated-cartoon balls. The objective of Chain Reactors is with
every ‘spin’ or ‘ball drop’ to match 5 or more of the same balls (there are 5
different balls) linked vertically or horizontally to win. Every 5 or more balls
explode, making space for even more oddballs to drop down and potentially
increase your winnings even more.
I remember with my very first spin that I matched six of the ‘one-eyed green’
balls to win 50p. Even though my initial bet size was £1, I couldn’t resist
playing on, and ended up playing Chain Reactors for about an hour. Despite being
a die-hard online slots fan I had come across a slightly cheesy, but enormously
entertaining online casino game.
I’m pleased to report that after playing Chain Reactors at Sky Vegas Casino,
I logged off almost £30 better off than when I started. And since that day, I
have played the game loads more times and have always had an absolute blast.
Chain Reactors Yielded a £154,313 Jackpot
But the reason I decided to write about Chain Reactors in this blog is to
mention that not only does it come with a jackpot, but that very recently – i.e
in January 2012 – a very lucky player at Sky Vegas Casino won the Chain Reactors
jackpot to the tune of a whopping £154,313!
Now that kind of windfall would
put a spring in anyone’s step.
In fact, despite Chain Reactors being a fairly innocuous looking online
casino game, according to stats released by Sky Vegas Casino, in 2011 the game
paid out jackpots of over £20,000 to 11 lucky players, while 13 players each
took home more than £10,000, showing that this game packs a powerful punch
payout-wise.
So what better reason to try out this surprisingly entertaining game for
yourself at Sky Vegas Casino today?
