The way to a UK online gambler's heart is to offer him or her a wide choice
of reputable online gambling destinations, a large selection of lucrative games,
and plenty of generous sign up and welcome bonuses, and thanks to a recent deal
between GameAccount and Eidos, they'll now have even more choice.
Leading UK-based internet skill games development firm, GameAccount, has
reportedly signed a licensing agreement with top-rated video game publisher,
Eidos Interactive, that will give players at popular UK online gambling
sites including William Hill, Stan James and Paddy Power access to a slew of new
games.
The deal will give GameAccount free reign to develop new skill games based on
some of Eidos' most popular games, including Battlestations: Pacific and Kane
and Lynch: Dead Men, and Championship Manager, a successful football management
simulation offering. In fact, Champion Manager is already in development.
The new Champion Manager game is expected to be built on a hi-lo person to
person skilled offering platform, incorporated with top-end graphics animations
and sounds, many of which will be gleaned from Eidos' original versions of the
popular games. So the new games will not so much 'reinvent the wheel', but
perfect it.
Said GameAccount chief executive officer Kevin Dale, 'We're obviously very
excited about the development and release of our games for these well know Eidos
Interactive brands. All of these game franchises already have a massive and
loyal following and we are hoping to benefit from that valuable brand
recognition.'
Players at other leading UK online gambling destinations - Betfred, BoyleSports,
BlueSquare, Sportingbet Europe, Gala Coral and GamingVC - will also shortly be
able to enjoy these dynamic new gaming offerings. Eidos also owns the
intellectual rights to top games such as Tomb Raider, Hitman, Deus Ex and Just
Cause.
