Totesport Signs Deal with Gambling Software Firm Cryptologic

The online gambling world has always been highly competitive, and now more so
than ever as the largest gaming firms compete to gain as much market share as
they can, including leading online gambling software developers like
Cryptologic, which has signed a multi-year deal with the UK's Totesport.
The deal will see Cryptologic provide Totesport - which is currently the fourth
largest bookmaker in the United Kingdom - with 6 of its most popular online
casino slot games, a few of which are expected to include Cryptologic's
trademark Marvel Comics-inspired games that have become favorites around the
globe.
Said Cryptologic VP, Justin Thouin, 'Totesport is one of the most respected
brands in the UK betting industry and we are delighted that its customers will
now be able to pit their skills and enhance their enjoyment with Cryptologic
games. We are on track to consolidate our stronghold in Britain's online
gambling sector.'
Originally founded in Canada some years ago, Cryptologic relocated its head
quarters to Ireland soon after the American Justice Department 'declared war' on
the online gambling industry. This new deal with Totesport will see the online
gaming software giant increase its total number of licensees around the world to
23.
Totesport, like the vast majority of its competitors, has realized that
diversity is the key to success in the online gambling industry. It's no longer
good enough to simply offer traditional sports betting facilities online, but to
also offer online casino games and in some cases online poker and online bingo
services too.

our customers and help to drive our ongoing expansion into online gaming.'
Established through an Act of Parliament in 1928, Totesport has continually
serviced UK sports betting punters up until now. It currently generates annual
revenues of almost £3 billion, employs over 4,000 members of staff and
operates more than 500 high street shops throughout the United Kingdom.
Cryptologic's slots are expected to become available at Totesport during the
third quarter of 2009.
