CryptoLogic to Provide Slots to Virgin Games

Ireland-based online gambling software firm, CryptoLogic, announced
recently that it has signed a deal with leading UK and Guernsey-based online
gambling operation, Virgin Games, to provide it with no less than 10 of
its most popular branded and non-branded online slot games.
As part of Richard Branson's successful Virgin Group, Virgin Games has become of
one of the most popular online gambling destinations in the UK, which is why its
executives took the decision to sign a multi-year licensing deal with
CryptoLogic, a software firm with an unquestionable pedigree.
Since its inception, CryptoLogic has developed top class online casino games
which is why many of the world's leading online sports betting sites, poker
rooms and casinos have signed similar deals with the firm. These include UK
sportsbook, Victor Chandler, and leading online casino and poker group, 888.com.
The CryptoLogic deal will allow Virgin Games to offer its players a selection of
top slots, some based on Marvel Comics characters. CryptoLogic is the only
online gaming firm in the world licensed to develop Marvel Comics games, which
includes Spider-Man, Iron Man, Wolverine, X-Men and the Fantastic Four.
Said Virgin Games CEO, Simon Burridge, 'CryptoLogic has a record of delivering
the industry's most compelling games while the Virgin brand is widely associated
with fun and great value. Our agreement is sure to be a winning combination
delivering unrivalled enjoyment and potential prizes to our players.'
Burridge was referring to the fact that Virgin's players will be able to play
slot games linked to CryptoLogic's highly lucrative jackpot network. In fact, at
least one of the games will be a progressive jackpot slots game that has reached
a whopping £4 million, one of the online industry's biggest jackpots.
'This recent deal with Virgin is yet another example of how CryptoLogic is
building a solid platform for long-term growth by creating and licensing the
industry's most exciting proprietary games to the world's marquee online
gambling brands,' said CryptoLogic President and CEO, Brian Hadfield.
The games are expected to be set up on Virgin Games through Gaming Technology
Solutions Plc, a CryptoLogic technology partner, via its GTS Edge platform. The
first CryptoLogic game to be offered on Virgin Games is Bejeweled, a 5 reel, 10
payline video slots game with a 20,000 x Super Jackpot.
