A new management at ClickandBuy was recently announced in July 2011 with the new CEO of the company being named as Peter Vesco. Mr Vesco has several years of experience in the online payment industry. He replaces the company's former CEO, Charles Frankl and is renowned for being an expert in this field. He is also regarded an invaluable asset to the new-look management team and the future expansion of the company.

The shake-up at the top and introduction of new staff is part of a plan to further develop the company's payment activities. ClickandBuy were taken over as a subsidiary company wholly-owned by the Deutsche Telekom AG Group.

"With Peter Vesco, I am pleased to have gained a top manager as ClickandBuy CEO," stated Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ClickandBuy Holding GmbH, Dr Martin Endlerle. "His sound payment expertise has made him an ideal candidate for us," added the Chairman. Both Charles Frankl and the former ClickandBuy CFO Frank Brinker (who was replaced by Frank Stoffer) will continue to assist in the payment areas of Deutsche Telekom AG.

In further news, the post-apocalyptic MMO game 'Fallen Earth' (developed by Reloaded Productions) has recently merged with 'GamersFirst' and revealed that ClickandBuy is no longer a viable payment solution for account holders who are looking to continue their subscriptions, due to them planning to make the game available as 'free-play'.

To access the game, players currently need paid subscriptions. However, GamersFirst announced that from Aug 01 2011, players would be able to access the game for free. After the account integration towards the end of July 2011, which saw the merge of old accounts into the new 'GamersFirst' accounts, the continuation of paid subscriptions has left players in limbo and payments taking longer than expected. This has led to a great deal of inconvenience and confusion for subscribers. The decision to drop ClickandBuy has left players with the option of being able to pay using only PayPal, or via traditional credit card payment.
