UK online gaming and betting software developer OpenBet Limited has signed a software licensing agreement with US card shuffler and table games supplier Shuffle Master Incorporated, that will see it provide online table games to Canadian online gaming operators.

Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, Shuffle Master will offer OpenBet-powered online casino versions of some of its most popular games to various operators in Canada, including the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) and Loto-Quebec, as per the new agreement.

Said Shuffle Master CEO Gavin Isaacs, 'Given the growing popularity of online gambling in Canada, offering our popular brands to this key market through OpenBet's platform is a natural next step for Shuffle Master, and part of our strategy to leverage our intellectual property online.

'We are very pleased that we are going to be working with OpenBet,' continued Isaacs. 'This agreement provides us with an exciting distribution channel for our specialty games, and is further affirmation of our belief that this will be an important segment for our company.'

OpenBet to Provide Games for BCLC and Loto-Quebec

OpenBet is no stranger to providing online casino games to BCLC and Loto-Quebec, but the new deal with Shuffle Master will see it provide them with three of the US firm's most popular games which are Fortune Pai Gow Poker, Casino War and Three Card Poker.

Said OpenBet commercial partner manager Max Francis, 'OpenBet's agreement with Shuffle Master will allow us to deliver even more [online casino] content to the Canadian lottery market as their enabling technology platform and e-casino provider.

'OpenBet partners with the market's top suppliers to ensure that it gives customers the very best offering,' he said. 'OpenBet has worked closely with Canadian lotteries to deliver successful legalised online gaming sites and it is great to be able to offer them more premium content.'

OpenBet provides premier online games to a host of online sports betting and casino operators in the UK, including Sky Bet, Betfair, Paddy Power, Ladbrokes and William Hill. The company also recently made its debut in the lucrative French online gambling market by providing games to the state-backed gambling operation, PMU.
