888 Holdings Publishes Record Q4 Revenues

888 Holdings, the owner and operator of 888.com online casino, poker, sports betting, bingo and games site, has published record interim financial results for the fourth quarter of 2011, which capped off a year that saw the firm generate total revenues of $331 million.

According to its newly released financials, the Gibraltar-licensed firm's revenues for the quarter rose by a notable 28 percent compared to the same period in 2010, and by six percent compared to the previous quarter to a record-breaking $91 million.

888 Casino Revenues Reached $42 million in Q4

888's online casino revenues rose by 34 percent compared to the same period in 2010, and by 11 percent on the previous quarter to reach $42 million, while its online poker room revenues increased by a massive 76 percent compared to the same period in 2010, and by two percent compared to the previous quarter to $19 million.

These high revenue increases were attributed by 888 to strong customer retention and recruitment across its online casino operation, as well as strong customer retention and its Poker 6 platform across its online poker operation.

Said 888 Holdings Deputy Chairman, Brian Mattingley, 'We are delighted with 888's strong performance over the last year and in particular the fourth quarter. 888's fourth quarter revenues were the highest on record and represent five consecutive quarters of revenue growth.

'Strong trading was led by an excellent performance in our business-to-consumer casino and poker and is the result of an increased strategic focus on our core competencies and the stand-out success of Poker 6, he said.

Mattingley went on to say that he is particularly excited about the online gaming site's upcoming launch of a new and exciting online casino product that has been designed to appeal to both existing and new players on the site.

2012 Trading Continues to be Strong for 888
