Virgin Games, the top-rated UK online gambling firm that owns and operates Virgin Casino amongst others, has won Affiliate Program of the Year at the 6th annual eGaming Review (EGR) Awards.
The EGR awards, which are held each year to recognise brilliance and innovation across all sectors of the online gambling industry, took place in London, England on Wednesday evening, and were a truly glittering affair.
In its category for best affiliate program, Virgin Games was up against some stiff competition in the form of many of the world’s biggest online gambling operators such as 888, Party Gaming and Betfair. However, it prevailed.
Said Virgin Games representative, Pierrick Leveque, ‘We are very proud to have won this prestigious award for the second year running. Competition was equally tough this year … and getting the top mark is welcome.
According to the EGR Awards judging criteria, Virgin Games boasts excellent proprietary affiliate software and reporting systems, generous commission rates, fast commission payments and top quality levels of service.
Virgin Games was nominated in this category in 2008, and then won in 2009 and again this year. So the question is whether the leading online gambling operator will be able to pull off a hat trick at the 2011 EGR Awards?
As to who won the biggest award of the evening – the prestigious Operator of the Year – that went to online gambling powerhouse Bet365, which trumped the likes of Betfair, 888, Betsson, Unibet and PartyGaming.
