Gaming Media Group Targets Danish Market

Gaming Media Group, a UK-based online gambling operator, has announced it has
signed a deal with Gibraltar-based betting technology firm Sports Betting Tech,
to launch an online sportsbook in the soon to be regulated Danish gaming market.
Said Gaming Media Group CEO Crispin Nieboer, ‘We chose Sports Betting Tech as
our strategic partner because of its superior offering and professional managed
services sportsbook solution, and because of its unique understanding of
regulated markets and of what it takes to operate in them.
‘The Danish market is a key focus for our group and we were looking for the
right partner to support our entrance into this market,’ he said.
Headquartered in London, Gaming Media Group owns and operates top online
gambling brands such as BlackjackHeaven.com, BingoJoy.com, CasinoJoy.com and
PokerHeaven.com, as well as HeavenAffiliates.com and the highly popular Poker
Channel TV network.
Gaming Media Acquired Danish Firm Mermaid Gaming
And to extend its reach further into Europe, in June this year Gaming Media
Group acquired Danish online gambling operator Mermaid Gaming – for £1.5 million
worth of shares – to give it a foothold in the Scandinavian country’s lucrative
online gambling industry.
Similarly, Sports Betting Tech has also been very
busy of late, having recently signed a lucrative deal with leading Austrian
online sports betting firm Win Worldwide Sports GmbH to power its online
sportsbook, WinFootball.com.
