It’s that time of the year again when Oscar betting fans get to bet on
who they think will walk away with the precious little gold statuettes at the
annual Academy Awards, known by most people simply as the Oscars, which this
year has been scheduled for Sunday, March 7 in Los Angeles.
And ahead of this year’s Oscars, there are no shortage of nominees and thus
potential winners, particularly in the Best Picture category, which has been
extended from 5 to 10 nominees. This is the ‘Big Kahuna’ of the Oscars, and the
one category which will no doubt prove controversial no matter who wins.
The reason for this is that now the Best Picture nominees have been drawn from
all manner of genres, including animation (Up), a category that is traditionally
celebrated in the Best Animated Feature Film of the Year category. But whoever
wins, so will thousands of betting fans smart enough to back them.
