Virgin Games Launches First TV Ad Campaign

On Monday this week, top UK-based online gambling powerhouse Virgin Games aired its first ever television commercial advertising its highly popular online casino, Virgin Casino.

The objective of the 20s advert is to inform the British public that Virgin Casino is the ‘home of slots’ and that its already sizable slot game portfolio is increased by at least one new game each week.

The TV ad, which is part of a £500,000 Virgin Casino advertising campaign, uses space as a theme to introduce viewers to Virgin Casino and popular slots such as  Da Vinci Diamonds and Cleopatra.

Said Virgin Casino acquisition manager, Oliver Wilson, ‘We had such a great response from our first Virgin Bingo ad broadcast last year that we decided this was the right way to go for Virgin Casino.

‘Television advertising is a new strategy for Virgin Casino and we believe a natural fit. Consumers like the familiarity and security of knowing they’re playing with a trusted and reputable company,’ he said.

The Virgin Casino advert will be aired for two weeks across two regions in the UK. This will allow Virgin Gaming to test the campaign’s Direct Response TV, before considering rolling it out nationally.

The TV campaign is being supported by a variety of Virgin Games’ direct response options including Display Media, PPC and Affiliate Marketing. Virgin Casino is offering all new players a £100 bonus
